Where to sow
Sow April to June.  Early sowings can be done under glass.  They need a temperature of 16c to germinate.  Sow directly outside from May.  Sow seeds 5cm deep.  Final spacing should be 25cm apart in rows 60cm apart.

What next
Plant out indoor sown beans once the danger of frost has passed.  They require support - 8ft canes are best.

Top tip
Keep picking the pods otherwise they will run to seed and shorten the season.
